Boredom? It doesn’t stand a chance here on Adventure Mountain: there’s too many exciting things to do! There’s a huge range of activities for children of every age – and their parents can join in too. Start your journey of discovery in Nassfeld with a diverse programme: explore the Aqua Trail, the Fix and Foxi theme park or have a go at climbing in the Rocklabyrinth.
SUPERVISED CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINMENT
Want to switch off for a day or explore a more challenging mountain trail? With the +Card holiday you can benefit from supervised children’s entertainment for 6–10-year-olds – completely free of charge.
In all weathers – even for ‘rainbow days’ – there are fun adventures to be had. Registration is possible until the day before.
NTC OUTDOOR PARK
The NTC Outdoor Park on the Tressdorfer Alm alpine meadow is the starting point for numerous activities. 12 different trails through the forest and rocks are the perfect introduction to climbing for the whole family. With the SafetyLine system, safety is guaranteed – even for young children over 100 cm or 3’3” tall.
In the 3D archery park you can find out what complete concentration feels like. Here a hunting trail awaits with over 12 different animal dummies that represent Europe’s animal kingdom.
With a wetsuit, lifejacket and helmet, you’re ready for river tubing on the Gail river. Fun for all the family – and perfect to cool off on hot summer days.
As a guest of the Arena Franz Ferdinand Nassfeld, you can enjoy the NTC Outdoor Park with reduced admission.
‘PENDOLINO’: CARINTHIA’S LONGEST SUMMER TOBOGGAN RUN
An adventure for children big and small: a trip on the longest summer toboggan run in Carinthia is an experience for the whole family. Get to the starting point with the Millennium Express. Your journey on the cable car is of course free with the +Card holiday.
LAKE PRESSEGGER SEE
With water temperatures of up to 28°C, Lake Pressegger See is one of the warmest lakes in Austria – and it’s drinking water quality. Guaranteed summer atmosphere, whether on the beach volleyball court on the bathing beach or in the themed playground ‘In the Realm of the Lake Witch’.

GEOPARK CARNIC ALPS
There’s loads for families to discover here: travel back through time to the beginnings of the Earth’s history. You can trace the origins of the Alps at over 70 locations in the Gailtal and Lesachtal Valleys. On well-marked Geotrails you’ll pass by roaring waterfalls and through ancient gorges with your eyes peeled for petrified fossils.

THEMED PLAYGROUNDS
Fix & Foxi are on holiday in Nassfeld and you can go from adventure to adventure with these local Nassfeld legends. Fun and variety guaranteed.
‘In the Realm of the Wild Gang’ is a mystery hunt for children big and small to track down the smugglers Fix & Foxi. At the ‘Alpine Rose Mountain Playground’ the good-natured ‘Alpine Rose’ joins children to hunt for the wulfenia magic flower. There are tests aplenty, from the Mini Flying Fox to the house on stilts. ‘In the Realm of the Lake Witch’ at Lake Pressegg offers a wealth of excitement spread across a terrain of 2,400 m2.
‘MOUNTAIN WATER’ AQUA TRAIL
The 1.5 km pushchair-friendly adventure walkway starts right in front of the Arena Franz Ferdinand Nassfeld. On the way children will learn all about water as an element, build a dam and investigate a genuine sailing boat.
You can extend the Aqua Trail by continuing on the ‘Dolce Vita Way’ – an easy 2.1 km circuit via Italy.
