HOW TO GET

ARRIVING BY CAR:

From western Austria and Germany

Take the A10 Tauern Autobahn via Tauern and Katschberg Tunnels (toll) to the Feistritz/Drau exit. Continue in the direction of Hermagor via the Windische Höhe, through Hermagor in the direction of Kötschach-Mauthen. Take the Nassfeld turn-off, then the Nassfeld main road to the valley station of the ski lifts in Tröpolach.

Alternatively, continue on the A10 to the Villach junction, then continue on the A2 Süd Autobahn towards Italy and take the Hermagor/Gailtal exit through Hermagor towards Kötschach-Mauthen. Take the Nassfeld turn-off, then the Nassfeld main road to the valley station of the ski lifts in Tröpolach.

or:

Or take the autobahn via Rosenheim, Kufstein (A12 Inntal Autobahn, Kufstein Süd exit), Felbertauern Tunnel (toll) to Lienz, Gailbergsattel, Kötschach-Mauthen, towards Hermagor to the Nassfeld turn-off. Then take the Nassfeld main road to the valley station of the ski lifts in Tröpolach. (Distance from Munich to Nassfeld: 298 km)

From eastern Austria

Take the A2 Süd Autobahn to the Hermagor/Gailtal exit, then continue to Hermagor and towards Kötschach-Mauthen. Take the Nassfeld turn-off, then the Nassfeld main road to the valley station of the ski lifts in Tröpolach.

From Italy

Take the motorway to Udine and then continue towards Austria. Take the Pontebba exit, go through the town of Pontebba and take the Italian mountain pass via the Nassfeld ski resort to the valley station of the ski lifts in Tröpolach. (Distance from Udine to Nassfeld: 85 km)

or:

Take the autostrada from Udine to Tarvisio to the Hermagor/Gailtal exit. Continue to Hermagor and towards Kötschach/Mauthen. Take the Nassfeld turn-off, then the Nassfeld main road to the valley station of the ski lifts in Tröpolach.
