Vacations at FRANZ ferdinand Mountain Resort are full of light-heartedness and joie de vivre, very simple and uncomplicated. That’s how it should stay in the future, just with a little more rules and distance than usual.

Your well-being and health, as well as that of our employees, are our top priority. We are aware of our responsibility and will of course do everything to ensure that you can spend a SAFE vacation with us.

Since there can always be changes at short notice, please inform yourself before departure about the current travel regulations and legal conditions, for example HERE.

It is very important that you inform yourselves before the journey exactly about the regulations valid here, since we must follow the defaults of the Austrian Federal Government as well as the Carinthian federal state government exactly and no exceptions can make.

We provide links here where you can inform yourself about the current regulations. However, since these are third-party websites, we cannot assume any liability for the information provided there.

According to the current status, you no longer need a 3G certificate for the hotel and restaurant industry in Carinthia as of 28.3.2022. But masks are compulsory in the public areas (FFP2)

We assure you the greatest possible flexibility in handling your reservations and cancellations. If borders are closed or an increased travel warning with associated quarantine obligation (for vaccinated and non-caccinated people) is issued for the entire Republic of Austria, the province of Carinthia or for the Hermagor region you can cancel your booking free of charge. In this case, the deposit already paid will be refunded.

However, if you do not comply with the regulations in force at the time of arrival, this is not a reason for a free cancellation.

We recommend that you take out travel insurance such as Hotelstorno Plus or Hotelstorno Medium from Europäische Reiseversicherung – our reservations department will be happy to assist you!

For your stay at FRANZ ferdinand you don’t need a certificat at the moment.

Since there can always be changes at short notice with regard to the entry entitlement of the accommodation establishments, you can inform yourself HERE before starting your journey.

If borders are closed at short notice or an increased travel warning is issued, you can of course cancel your booking already made for winter 2021/22 at this time free of charge.

If this is not the case, our modified cancellation conditions apply. It is best to check the cancellation conditions in advance.

However, if you do not comply with the regulations in force at the time of arrival, this is not a reason for a free cancellation.

You will find dispensers for hand disinfection in public areas at your disposal. Of course, we will brief you in detail upon your arrival, which rules of conduct will be necessary.

In case you want to climb, this will certainly be possible, but we kindly ask you to bring your own shoes if available. You can of course also use our boulder shoes, which we will disinfect after each use.

The daily cleaning of FRANZ ferdinand Mountain Resort Nassfeld will be adapted to the newest hygienic standards. Public areas like restaurant, lobby and the rooms will be regularly disinfected while being cleaned. A certified company is taking care of the safe processing of linen and towels.
